Location: Walk around Victoria Park Lake, commencing from the Goulburn Valley Highway BBQ area (approx. 4 kms)


  • 9:00am: Participants arrive
  • 9:30am: Official speeches and presentations
  • 10:00am: Walk begins
  • 11:00am: Post-walk celebrations
  • 12:00pm: Closing Proceedings

  • Groups of up to 10: $100
  • Children age 12 years and under: Free

Walk distance

The Big Red Kidney Walk in Shepparton will feature a 4 km walk around Victoria Park Lake.



Dogs are welcome on the route, but must be on a 2 meter lead and well supervised by their owner (including picking up after them). Kidney Health Australia will not take responsibility for any dogs at the event.


How to get there


By public transport

The Hayes Street Bus Stop is the closest option to Victoria Park Lake, with bus routes 5, 6 and 8 travelling through the area. Bus Route 9 travels to the Aquamoves Bus Stop, which is a very short walk away from the Walk meeting point. For further information and timetables, please visit the PTV website.


By car
Victoria Park Lake is 1.5km south from centre of Shepparton. Parking available along Wyndham St in front of lake. Limited parking is also available alongside Visitor information centre. Additional parking available at car park in Tom Collins Drive, the start is a 600m walk south along the side of Victoria Park Lake.
